Hello,

Have you guys heard anything from BCIT admissions yet? My anxiety is really high right now. I hate this period of uncertainty

Would you mind sharing your GPA and work/volunteer experience(s)?

I have close to about 150 credits with 2.9 cgpa. My pre-req GPA is either 3.6 or 3.4 depending if they accept my international credentials or not. I am currently working at two community mental health teams but I also work at long term care and acute care (VCH, PHC and FHA). I have been working in health care for 5 years. Since majority of my credentials are not from Canada, I don't know if this will affect my chances. Anyone else on the same boat?

I'm applying for the September intake as well. I've recently graduated with a bachelors of kin from UBC and my prereq GPA is 3.8. Volunteer wise, I've worked in hospitals abroad and am currently volunteering for a therapeutic riding program. I work in a medical clinic right now as an office manager.

I havent heard anything yet from BCIT either! Looking at past forums, it looks like they've let applicants know if they're short listed or not by the end of March. I know how you feel regarding the anxiety - waiting like this is the worst!

Hi all!

I am also super nervous as this is my second time applying after being shortlisted but not accepted from the Jan/April 2018 intakes. I have 50 post secondary credits with a GPA of 3.15 (not the highest) and I am taking LIBS 7001 and 7002 this semester. I work as a caregiver for elderly individuals, as a MOA in a doctor's office and have almost 150 hours volunteering at a hospital. I talked to an advisor and they said we would find out of we got shortlisted at the end of March and know our final status by the end of April.

Hi everyone!

This is my first time applying to BCITs BSN program and I have a GPA of 3.56. I have work experience as an LPN at Surrey Memorial Hospital for the past 2 years and I completed LIBS 7001 in the fall. I have previous volunteer experience working with charity campaigns, such as Canadian Red Cross and Breakfast Club of Canada. I got 'waitlisted for career' at Langara, so I'm super anxious about knowing whether I'll be accepted or not at BCIT. Good luck to everyone!

Haven't heard anything yet...this anxiety is actually killing me. Every time my phone rings I freak out. I hope they let us know soon :/

Same here! I've been checking my BCIT account hourly... Still nothing :( I can't concentrate at work! Based on September 2017 intake thread, it seemed like they were sending notifications on March 28. I wonder if they'll do that at the end of the day today.
