i just want to know if there is a possibility that the june 2009 RN passer can take RM exam this april since they didn't yet any schedule in releasing board certificate which is one of the requirementsin taking exam. is there a possibility that i can take RM exam without board certificate... tnx ur reply is very much appreciated.. thanks and GOD bless
To owie86,
The Board Certificate is NOT needed. Your RN license is all that is needed. You can still take the April 28-29 exam since the deadline is still on April 8. I hope you can get cases this March in time. The cases should be dated after your registration date as an RN.
To alxsRN,
Thanks for the trust. I am one of the officers of the Young Nurses Association of the Philippines, Inc. (YNAP) and I want to help all the young nurses in anyway I can. We should explore all opportunities. Wish me luck in my interview 3 hours from now
To cookiebabykurei22,
I'll just be having my interview in 3 hours. Pray for me guys. I'll fill you in on the details. For now I advice you to file your RM exam application at the end of march so the Board of Midwifery won't have time to interview you guys.
Take care
Tnx. I'll wait for that... Can you suggest review centers and materials that we can use:yeah:
hi guys! I just filled my papers last Tuesday. ^_^
Will be having an interview tomorrow. WIsh me luck!
I suggest search for the Phil Midwifery LAw over the internet
there are topics that I saw which according to the law would come out in the board exam like Primary Health care, IMCI, Family Planning and everything related to OB. Good luck to us!
Good luck in the interview guys. A lot was asked, like what is a partograph. When the Board of Midwifery (BOM) asks, always say that that you watched over the mother from 1st to 4th stage of labor.. Also know House Resolution 100.
Cardiography: the midwifery PRC completion form can be obtained from the PRC office - application division. but i have a template of the cases if you want to. post your email.
God bless
Just finished with the interview. They asked if you really performed/handled the cases you have written. They also verify it with the ones similar to those who they already interviewed. The board is strict. They asked me for my instructor's certificate and license since she is a nurse-midwife. They also asked me for the logbook of case records for verification.
