Can new grad work two residency programs?

I will be graduating in December 2023 and will take my NCLEX in January. I have received offers for residency programs at two different hospitals one is a county hospital in the CDU department and the other is at another hospital in the PCU department.

I like the county hospital because I know I will be exposed to more. The other hospital, I love the environment and the people.

I was wondering if it will be possible for me to work both residency programs at the same time?

Absolutely not.

What Wuzzie said. You will be learning a lot and new grad programs are stressful. Just making the jump from Student to new grad novice is a time of growth and acceptance. Don't over commit yourself. Be content to learn and grow where you are. I don't think the two programs would evenhire you because They want your full attention.

It's not even that. She can't be in 2 places at once and they aren't going to flex their program schedules to accommodate her. Even if she could, taking a spot away from another new grad isn't right.

I agree when I started a new grad residency in LDRP I had 6 weeks of classroom instruction and another 12 weeks of practical. I could never have managed two programs at once.

I have concerns for you, just by the fact you asked that question. Prepare yourself for all that a residency includes. If you like the vibes at the county hospital... go with it. Again, prepare yourself.  CDU training will be intense.

Best wishes
