in a nut shell yes. I sat NCLEX in AZ for NY and then endorsed to AZ where I am hopefully moving to by the end of the year

There is no physical requirement as to where one sits for the NCLEX. It can be in any state or any country that offers the exam, such as London, Seoul, or Hong Kong, as well as the US Territories.
Fastest would be for you to get initial licensure via NY since you will be required to have a Visa Screen Certifcate and since you are no longer in your home country. CGFNS does the leg work for you in terms of getting the required documents. Just look at the sticky posted on the top of the International forum for "quickest way" to get US licensure. There are only three applications that you need to submit and that is it............ :)
Hope that this helps............... :balloons:

Annie,

Annie,
We specialize in that around here. Only age requirement for a green card is that someone will offer you a job......... :) The employer is the one that does the petitioning for you.........you cannot apply directly for it yourself.
If you actually want to work in Florida, then you only need the regular credentials verification for them. (CES). However, since you are living in Florida at the present time, it is much easier to go with initial licensure in NY, then endorse to Florida. CGFNS does the special credentials verification for NY, and they are responsible for obtaining the necessary documents from your nursing school, as well as your licensing board. Just makes things much easier for you since you are not back home to do the running around.
Just follow what the sticky says at the top of the page for the fastest way of getting licensed in the US. You will only need the three applications that are listed............
