I started my new job about 2 monthes ago and now i'm having a problem with getting along with co-workers. One of the PCA asked me a question and instead of explaining to her I answered her briefly and it sounded like I didnt want to be bothered. so she called our manager telling her she cant work with me that i'm not answering here question, etc... I knew it was my mistake and i regretted it but the damage was already done. A next shift nurse came and this PCA told her about it and this nurse I can tell she wanted to provoke me. Later I heard her talk to somebody I assume our manager about what I said, what I did etc.. So now I'm worried that my is on the line and I've lost trust from my co-workers. I'm also worried that I might be terminated. Is there anything I can do??
another misogynist heard from.
now that's a little harsh. let's be honest. if the staff were all male, there would be lots of talk about little peter, no nuts, he'd probably rather be a hairdresser, and long profound strings of inspired profanity.
ladies like to talk about who's, "not in the group...!"
we have individual strengths and weaknesses, we have generalizable gender-related strengths and weaknesses. as un-pc as that may seem, i have yet to hear a sound argument refuting it.

i thought it was a little harsh -- and offensive -- to relate pettiness in the workplace to an all female workforce.

having worked with women my entire life, i have observed many, many incidents of, and been a victim of, "jr. high school mean girl stuff" that i just don't see men engaging in. just look at most of the posts we have!
from webster's dictionary: misogynic: having or showing hate or distrust of a woman" i neither hate nor distrust women. i am one, for goodness sakes! i make the statement based on observations of behavior, not hate or distrust.
geesh.....
