I'm not 100% sure why the board in CA is making me take classes again here in CA. It has been 5 years since I graduated in the PI. I also tried and failed the NCLEX-RN 5 times. I'm still working on my immigration but wanted to know if this is legitimate or if I"m just being bullied around? Anyone have them do this to you?

Canada doesn't have LVN's or CNAs.
We're all practical and our NAs aren't certified.
So an RN who repeatedly fails can work as an NA. But only a few provinces permit RN grads (and they are usually from overseas) to write the CPNRE. Most Canadian educated LPNs are livid that this is even being allowed to happen.
I've worked with some of these nurses and they aren't safe in either grade and require too long an orientation period.
Hasn't worked in the 5 years since graduating uni? No practice permit back home? No experience? Not the safest sounding applicant for any position.
