can you apply nursing school before you finish the pre reqs if you have 40 hours and completed 3 of the sciences?

That depends on your school and varies quite a bit even just in my local schools so you shoudl definately look into it at the schools to plan on applying to.

Yes that will depend on your school. At mine, you can apply after taking algebra, biology, and chemistry. The rest of the pre-reqs can be taken DURING the nursing program although it isn't recommended.

I agree. Definitely check with your school. My school has certain classes that are pre-reqs. You cannot apply until you complete those with a satisfactory grade. The remainder of the non-nursing classes are considered to be co-reqs. It is recommended that you take them before starting the program, but it is not required.

No one, I'll repeat that, no one in my class has completed all of the stipulated prereqs, and we're in it.

At my school you can apply for the program but you must complete all you pre-reqs before the program starts. If you are midway through the pre-req classes they send your midterm grades to the director before you interview.
