One school I applied to required Micro, another did not. It is a 4 credit class that does have a lab component, so you have to buy a labpaq to go along with it.
I have had all my classes that I took through ccconline accepted at the state (CO) University level. You register through a 'home college' and you get all your records through them, it doesn't even show up as an online class.
I just went to the site and put online microbiology and there is a syllabus that talks about the labs and lab reports. I am sure it is online and seems to be less expensive than occ or UNE which are both around 1400. UNE you can take up to a year so if you need more time it might be something to look into. I am going to be taking this online somewhere because I can't see trying to take it with my nursing classes. I will take either this summer or next.

I was looking at the schools website and it seems like a really good idea for me particularly...What is your experience with the home colleges? financial aid? whats the tuition like? and what classes did you take?
On another note!
University of Phoenix Online DOES offer individual courses in A&PI and II as well as Micro and other classes BUT their tuition rates are outrageous! they are around 385$-485$ per credit hour PLUS the other prices equal out to be around 2000$ per class! and they don't offer financial aid for those courses! so your paying 2000$ per class out of pocket!! WAY to expensive for me!

I can recommend what online classes not to take... Don't take RODP or University of Phoenix (that is a joke program). If I were you, I would just take it in a classroom setting if you can do that. Online Micro is RIDICULOUS!

Just wondering how your class is going? Is it harder or easier than you thought it would be? What did the class wind up costing you in the end?
Thanks!
