Hi there!

I am a foreign nurse aspiring to go to America. Can anyone tell me of any information about Cambridge Healthcare? It's base is in MD. I would like to know if it's a good agency. I believe they're somewhere in Baltimore.

Thanks a lot.

Pls. update me regarding your H1B applications. Are nurses who applied and now working in US under H1B visa at this time ? I would like to know also how long it would take the process. Thanks for replying,I am also an applicant who was hired recently by the same company.

Just woke up early this morning of saturday in new zealand.. i've got a good news from cambridge healthcare that i've got an approval for my h1b visa!!! it took less than a month since i got my receipt from the USCIS (april 22) and... i cant believe this! now,i'm just waiting for the approval package so i will know the details for the next step...

good luck to those waiting for results.... and God Bless! :yeah:

Hi,

It's to nice to hear from you, may I know how long it took for cambridge to file your case and what documents did you submit. I am still undecided bec. last 2006, the first agency I applied was hiring for H1B nurses, nothing happened for 2 years though I have cgfns ,nclex and vs.That's why my I applied again and I got an EB3 wd pd 2008. What holding me are the legal implications of contracts and if I am really qualified for H1B though I have been a MICU nurse for 2 years.

Thanks for sharing .

hello!

requirements are the same as what you've submitted before.. with regards to my application, it was cambridge who filed my petition last april 1st and it was receipted on april 22, then I got my approval on may 7. In my opinion, this is the best time to apply for an H1B visa because there is not much petitions received by the USCIS due to recession, unlike the previous years that abundant petitions were received and there is a need to conduct a lottery, and of course there were unlucky applicants who were not selected.. I, myself had a contract with another agency, but, it will only be active as soon as I start working with them (with an immigrant visa). Mine, too, had a pd of 2008, but who knows when this retrogression be lifted? maybe even we finished our contract with our h1b employer, retro is still ongoing.. so I decide to apply even only with a non immigrant visa, and I know the consequences that I may go back if there's nothing happened on my green card application after the term of my h1b visa. At least I got the chance to work in the US..

Well, good luck to you and God bLess!

When you apply to Cambridge, how long it took them to file your case to USCIS?

H1B is only for nurses in special areas, did you submit any paper proving that your a hd nurse? Thanks again.God bless !

the communication started between me and cambridge started end of february 2009, when someone from the agency called me that they have seen my resume thru the internet.. I was still undecided at that time, but on march, teresa keep on calling me, encouraging, and thats it! I just give them my trust.. one week before the month of april, I submitted all the documents needed and they emailed me later that it was filed on the 1st of april. Well, I submitted all my certificates of employment, including the 2 years in hemodialysis in Saudi Arabia (i worked 13 years in S.Arabia), and maybe fresenius and USCIS considered this as evidence of my specialty. I hope this will enlighten you, and helps you decide.. Good Luck and God Bless!
