is this true? I'm an active duty military soldier and I'm very interesting in taking my BSN in Calstate LA but I'm also aware of the waiting list they have for the school.

Is it true that there's no waiting list for soldiers? Please let me know as this would greatly help me out aftermy deployment. Thank you very much

I don't know if this is true for Cal State LA, but i do know for a fact this is true for Cal State East Bay and Fresno State. Keep in mind that the Cal State university system doesn't use a typical wait list. Students are admitted based on a point system. Those that don't meet the cutoff initially are put on a waiting list in case a spot opens up. If you do not get admitted from the wait lists for that period, you must apply again for the next admission period.

CSULB admits military and vets that qualify. They were clamoring for me, but I was accepted to Sonoma State (they have a similar policy), meaning I didn't have to move. Every university is different.

I'm not sure what BOS you're in, but I know the Navy, at least when I was on AD, had the NCP program for nursing. Is there a commissioning program you are doing?

I'm not in the Army Nurse Commissioning Program yet but I'm knocking out classes I need to get in the program. I eventually wanna go to the Nursing Corp and get my 66F MOS

What type of admit policy does CSULB and Sonoma State have in regards to admitting veterans?
