Calling all Southwest Tennessee Community College 2012 Fall Hopefuls

The deadline to apply is February 1, 2012. How many are applying? I thought I would start a thread so we can all wait together, and get to know each other. I finished my special application today and will turn it in tomorrow at the start of the spring semester. Good luck to everyone!

I have been wondering what order they are calling as well. I agree with the other posters I dont understand why it takes so long to make 60 calls.

I called her again yesterday to ask if she finished. I know.. I'm inpatient. Lol. But she said that she has a couple left and that she's been so busy and hasn't been able to get to all of them in a timely manner. I went back to every one who posted their index score and it kinda seems like she started at the first of the list and is working her way down. But she did say it was only a couple. So.. trying not to get my hopes up about today or anything. :-\ this is just crazy.

Olivia I am so sorry you are going thru all this uncertainty. It just isn't right. They should find a way to call every one on the same day. Hugs....

Congrats to all those that have been accepted! I haven't posted until now but all of you have kept me sane in the past few months while we waited together :) For those of you that haven't received a call yet... DO NOT give up!! When I was in meeting with Mrs. Shaw in January to make certain she had my information for Fall deadline, she was still pulling files for students being accepted into the Spring program. I believe this is the alternate list that a few of you have mentioned. As time goes on, students decide to not go into the program and others were called. I believe she told me the index score of the student she was calling was 50.something... hang in there!!!

I am confused on one thing though.. She told me May 4th between 9-2. Did she tell anyone else May 4?
