The deadline to apply is February 1, 2012. How many are applying? I thought I would start a thread so we can all wait together, and get to know each other. I finished my special application today and will turn it in tomorrow at the start of the spring semester. Good luck to everyone!

Hello fellow peers! I recieved my call April 13th out of the blue! I was completely surprised! I applied last fall and thought I had recieved a rejection letter.... so I thought there was no hope... Apparently I was in the top 20% also! Can't wait to meet you all May 2nd!

I received my phone call today... Don't see why it takes so many days to make a two min phone call but whatever.

Yay! At least we know you're in and they've started making phone calls again. It is BS though.. Fingers crossed for the rest of us waiting :yawn:

Thanks you guys for your prayers. Looks like they worked!!!!!! Ahhhhhhh! I'm shaking like a leaf right now! Now I finally feel like I'm halfway there lol. Is there anything we need to do while we are waiting to go sign? Like are we supposed to register for classes yet? My heart was pounding so hard when I got the call I couldn't think of any questions to ask! :) I'm so excited. Praying all of us do unbelievably well and praying for the ones still waiting. Dreams do come true, I always wondered if they did!

From what I've heard you tell them the schedule you want when you sign for the packet. But only for your classes, you set your clinical day during orientation. I went online and wrote down all the class days and times for the first semester just in case I do get the call..

AGH!! This is driving me crazy. I really hope they don't drag this out through the week. PLEASE SOUTHWEST, PLEASE FINISH THE CALLS TODAY.. I just wanna know :(

I would go to Fall 2011 hopefuls. There's a wealth of information there. Lol. That's where I've gotten most of my information, that and from a few people already in the program.

I know towards the end they talk about getting something in order to register for their clinicals I can't remember about their classes though

Are they calling in order by index score or is it random?
