California's 2010 New Grad RN Program

2010 is fast approaching so I think there must be a new thread for 2010 new grad program. I hope the moderators will allow me to post this new thread. I'm currently working at Monrovia Memorial Hospital which is 40 miles away from our apt. We live here in Playa del Rey, near the LAX and unfortunately I don't drive yet. I'm looking for any hospitals that offers new grad program for next year. I'm not even sure if I'm still qualified for a new grad program because it will be my 8th month this Jan. working at Monrovia Memorial. Anyone could share any info..Thanks..

No i have not and I am having some major anxiety!! I was going back to several posts and in one of them you said that we would know end of this week or beginning of the next, well they told me last Thursday that it would be end of this week. I don't think I can wait until the begining of next week I am so anxious to find out! lol

Has anyone applied for the UCSF RN Residency program for August 2010? They start interviews next month I heard. Does anyone know someone who has been through this program? It sounds great.

I just wanted to tell you that I know they told you two weeks from your interview, but I was thinking about it and they told me two weeks from mine too. I had mine on Wed19th, so 2 weeks is June 2nd. I really doubt they will take one more week, but I just wanted to maybe give you some peace of mind in case you didn't hear from them yet. Also, since they changed the start date from June to July, they aren't very "rushed" to decide. So, if you don't hear from them tomorrow, don't panic!!! I can't wait to hear your good news.

I applied for the Kaweah Delta Critical Care Internship. I did a phone interview yesterday, and I'm hoping to hear back next week! Do you live in the area??

That's odd, they didn't tell you at the beginning of your interview during their introduction? They said it should start the third week in July thats all she said not an exact day during that week.

They called me at 220. I just can't believe it! They said they wanted to make the calls before the long weekend. Do you know anything about the hospital? I'm sure they'll call either way :)

Well congratulations! I have not received the call and it is now 5:05pm I don't think I made the cut of they have been making calls that early. I just wish they would call and get this waiting process out of the way. I do know it's a good hospital. I live nearby so I've used their facilities and they are awesome! I don't know if I should call?! I really want to find out today.

No Jyaa I haven't heard anything either and now after reading this I'm discouraged. Congrats newgradnurse!!! They did say they would call either way so I guess I'll try not to stress.
