Hi there. Anyone know of the answer to this?
Does a California RN need to take any special tests if she/he wants to work as an RN in the State of Washington?

No tests, you just need to apply for reciprocity. You apply for a license but you don't have to take the boards again, just provide proof of education and of licensure in CA.
TazziRN-thanks! Sounds quite easy.

You have to look around, but it's on there somewhere.

Takes some time and they might require a copy of your transcripts and CA license. If you didn't have 6 hrs of HIV education in nursing school you may have to do that when you renew your license the first time (Oregon has a pain class you need instead).
