California State University, Northridge (CSUN) ABSN Spring 2024

Hi everyone,

I wanted to start this thread for the CSUN ABSN program for Spring 2024. I have a 3.8 in my science prereqs. I do not have any volunteer experience, but I will be getting my CNA and BLS certification this month. Application opens on June 6th and closes on August 1st (or earlier due to volume)! Let's connect here & good luck to everyone!

Did anyones acceptance reflect in their csun portal or did y'all just get an email?

I got an email but my csun portal still has my status listed as an applicant

Hi everyone! Im so happy I found this thread. I applied to the Spring 2024 but till haven't heard back. Can those who were accepted please share their stats if you don't mind. Im literally checking my email every our of the day and want to ease my mind.

Hi,

I applied for the ABSN program of Spring 2024. I haven't heard anything yet. Does everyone receive an interview to get accepted? Has any rejections been given out? TYIA and congrats to those who have gotten in!

hi! I haven't heard anything either, but from previous cohorts it doesn't seem like you have to get an interview to get accepted. they haven't sent out rejections yet, so maybe they're either going in batches or they're waiting to see how many people accept the admissions offer!

hi everyone! I emailed the program coordinator and he said that admission decisions will continue to go out this month. fingers crossed for us!

Hi everyone!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! Was wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me. I called the admissions office this morning and they said that decisions will continue to come out through November. Does this mean I shouldn't give up hope LOL, I am incredibly nervous and haven't heard anything ?

Hi everyone,

It's true that CSUN is still in selection process for the program. We might here people getting accepted at different dates.

 

today, I just received an email from CSUN for "video interview" 

please be on a lookout for email

although, I'm in dilemma because I somewhat lost hope from CSUN ABSN when I was not hearing any updates regarding my application. I was accepted to an ADN program which is cheaper than CSUN ABSN.
