Im so sad I didn't know they used a csun email. and I didn't see the interview video until now and its too late . :( I WAS CHECKING the portal everyday AND MY PERSONAL EMAIL  too. I was praying so hard to get in here as I already work in a hosptial and have a prior bachelors. Im frustrated with myself for not realizing. Just trying to tell myself it wasnt meant to be. GOOD LUCK everyone else!

Sorry to hear that. Don’t give up though.  And always check these forums too because there is a lot of information that is shared here.  They have Spring applications opening up too.

Sorry to hear that, they noted communications would be through their email services, and to check it daily. Maybe reach out to them and see if you can submit a late video? Things happen, and I hope they can empathize with you on it. If not, shoot your shot again.

I actually called and asked but they said no exceptions. I guess they sent them to personal emails too but I never got it. They said it happens sometimes. It’s okay I will try next semester. :/ they said if u got a interview you have a pretty high chance because they only took 100 out of 400 for video interviews 

I don’t know how many they accept out of the 100 but I wish you guys the best!

Wow, im sorry to hear that. I also had not noticed the csun email at first, but did get an email to my personal one--which is odd as I didn't even know they had that email. However; if you had a video interview, im sure that you will be top pick next time around. Stay positive and don't stop trying and believing. Soon you'll be an RN working wherever you want.

Wow. Thanks for the info. I got notifications on both my personal email and csun email. It sucks that you didn't get it but I'm sure you will get in the next time around!

I’m so sorry to hear that! But don’t beat yourself up about it,they just opened up the Spring semester applications today so maybe you can try applying again! Best of luck to you!

For those of you who didn’t receive an email requesting a video call will you be reapplying for the Spring semester? 
They just opened up the applications today
Also, do you guys think we should mention that we are reapplying or do you feel we should leave that out? I will be changing up my essay to include changes I’ve made since submitting my first application but CSUN was the first and only nursing program I’ve applied to so far so I’m a little unsure how to go about reapplying

The timing of the Spring application opening is unfortunate since rejections haven't gone out yet for this round. Obviously I'd like to try again if I don't get in, so I hope we hear back soon so we can make the cutoff. I'm also curious about reapplying--has anyone here done it? I'd assume you have to send all the documents and transcripts in again if it's a whole year after the first attempt, but applying for fall and then again for Spring--it sure would help financially if they'd just hang on to everyone's submission documents from the last application cycle.

So I just called & they said they recommend waiting until decisions are sent out before reapplying for the Spring term. I was told admissions should be sent mid-June or early July.

This last time, the application was only open for a month before they closed it. Hopefully there will be enough time to reapply once they send out acceptances and rejections.
