  1. Thats odd, I just received a letter of register intent, but it has a different "cc'd" person. Yet the picture on the left has my name. Has anyone else received a second email?
  2. Congratulations to those who received a letter already. I did too and am so glad. However; last year they made a mistake and sent out letters apologizing for the confusion and some got them in error. I'm so happy, yet careful not to get too excited LOL. Lets hope that this year its correct. Congrats so far! I got the email to the CSUN email address. Not the portal.
  3. My video was only viewed once for about 30 seconds--which is intimidating... I wonder if I submitted the video correctly. Seems to be done correctly. Also, did anyone else get a view late at night? Mine was viewed around 10 pm and for less than a minute. Thanks
  4. Thats a possibility. Hence time limit on the questions . some people im sure went over and didn't follow instructions. You're right, thats always a good indication on whether a student will follow instructions. But still, terrible set up LOL.
  5. did you apply? did you get accepted? just following up
  6. I have buddies who started programs at other schools and some who finished and they all say, every program is terrible one way or another. There are a lot politics in these programs and they try to take people out simply because they don't like you. I honestly think that all programs are bad LOL. As long as we get in somewhere and study ourselves and use clinical time as much as possible, we will make it.
  7. Horrible! I do remember reading this. I hope that doesn't happen this time around. Regarding the videos, I think you're right. They probably only view a few seconds to see how the applicant looks like, sounds like, and starts their answers. I know every school is different but who knows. On a different topic, does anyone have information on which books they use for the first semester at CSUN ( for those in the program). Thanks
  8. That's a good point. I hope they know already, my Youtube video has not been viewed yet so I'm thinking that perhaps I might not be accepted? not sure. But I'm thinking the same, application open, perhaps I should apply again. They have a terrible set up
  9. Wow, im sorry to hear that. I also had not noticed the csun email at first, but did get an email to my personal one--which is odd as I didn't even know they had that email. However; if you had a video interview, im sure that you will be top pick next time around. Stay positive and don't stop trying and believing. Soon you'll be an RN working wherever you want.
  10. do you recall when you sent in the link? what day?
  11. I've been checking but no new views on my video. Did you get views on yours? if so, when? thanks.
  12. Glad to read that you completed your first semester at CSUN ABSN. Would you mind telling us about the books for the first semester? I'm trying to get an early start on the readings. Thanks.
  13. That's awesome guys. Good luck! and for those of u who receive the invites, please let us know. Thanks
  14. Yeah, that's weird. I have a total of 6 transcripts, and all 6 fall under the "completed Tasks." However, 3 of them say "transcript(s) have been received," and the other 3 say, "transcript(s) have been received and is pending evaluation."
