  1. Hello, I am currently enrolled and I am set to graduate this coming May! I love the program. Some others may have had a negative experience but I've had a pleasant experience at Misericordia so far. I also had a very smooth admission process. Although I had to retake a course, the school had no problem with me taking the class at a community college back home where I'm from. They also let me know far enough in advance so I could get it done prior to school starting. I highly recommend. I've gotten very good grades so far and I love that the classes are small. I would recommend attending an open house so you can see the location. It is in an office building but you also have access to the gym and cafeteria in the building. It's located in the Robinson area so also very close to a lot of restaurants and what not.
  2. Yea I attempted to see if it would be accepted but they did let me know that not everything was covered in the biostats class that they need covered (which is usually covered in stats) but that’s okay I don’t really mind retaking it since I did take the biostats class a few years ago. I also had known for a while now that it wasn’t going to be accepted so it was not a surprise to me, my advisor told me with enough time so I could take it at a local community college prior to my start date; plus I know that not all schools accept it so I knew it was a possibility. I’m sure there must be a reason for your classes but it’s unfortunate it came as a surprise to you. Good job at getting into the MSN program that must be very exciting! And thank you, my partner and I will be moving to Pittsburgh as well. It’s a big move but totally worth it for our futures! Best of luck to you and your partner!
  3. Wow that’s weird and unfortunate. Hopefully with time there will be more student to be able to give more feedback for the future classes. I am currently set to start at Misericordia in January and am currently enrolled in a statistics course to fulfill that course since they did not accept my biostatistics course. It’s u fortunate that they did not accept your other classes. Maybe they just weren’t equivalent to what they wanted? Whatever the case may be, wish you the best of luck! Everybody has different experiences and it is unfortunate. But time will tell! if there are any other students planning to enroll, there will be an “open house” next month so we can meet current students and what not. And in November we will be meeting as a cohort so we can meet eachother!
  4. Wow this is worrisome. I already accepted my admission and paid the deposit. I guess I’ll just have to hope for the best and hopefully I’ll have a different experience
  5. I was dead set on reapplying but decided to apply to other schools and reapply next year for fall2023 if I don’t get in anywhere else. I honestly did not like how there was not a lot of communication with admissions and after looking at a lot of other schools out of state, I found them to be a lot more helpful in the application process. Best of luck to you!
  6. Hi, my name is Celina, I am currently awaiting a decision on my application to Misericordia for Spring 2023. Would either of you be able to give some insight on how the program is going and what it’s like? I hope both of you are doing well and are enjoying the program!
  7. I am wondering the same thing, I messaged the program manager earlier this morning asking this as well. Will let you know once I hear back.
  8. I believe 30 Congratulations to everyone who got in!
  9. I called right now to ask and they gave a very general response of waiting until end of this month or early July so who knows now): This is what I am wondering on too. Would like to reapply but unsure if I should change up my essay and/or resume format
  10. I feel they should have waited until getting out the fall acceptance/rejection emails out prior to opening the Spring application for those who want to reapply. Now they will most likely have some people re-applying who may not need to which takes up an application for others. I thought they accepted 60 applicants and break them up into fall and Spring cohorts so I didn’t even know the application was going to open again until today when I read it in this forum
  11. I emailed him previously and he didn’t help much but I tend to get more of an answer when I call the tseng college main # or when I emailed the manager for the ABSN program. If you call the tseng college number they could transfer you to her as well if she’s available
  12. For those of you who didn’t receive an email requesting a video call will you be reapplying for the Spring semester? They just opened up the applications today Also, do you guys think we should mention that we are reapplying or do you feel we should leave that out? I will be changing up my essay to include changes I’ve made since submitting my first application but CSUN was the first and only nursing program I’ve applied to so far so I’m a little unsure how to go about reapplying Best of luck to everybody who applied for fall and to those who will apply for the Spring??
  13. I’m so sorry to hear that! But don’t beat yourself up about it,they just opened up the Spring semester applications today so maybe you can try applying again! Best of luck to you!
  14. Hi thank you for letting us know this! I also reached out. I was told that they sent the video requests to 100 applicants but that they are still reviewing everybody’s applications and if we didn’t receive one it does not mean we are not being considered. Hopefully this helps bring some peace of mind to those of us who didn’t receive an email(:
