Hi All,

Just wanted to start a forum for those planning to apply for the ABSN program at CSUN during Spring 2021.

Specializes in Psychiatry.

@jr624666 no I did not, but would honestly be so ecstatic to be in the program. I just hope we find out soon, but willing to wait for Christmas if need be to get good news. LOL.

I didn’t do my undergrad at CSUN either! I was actually very surprised that I had received an interview but super happy. Long story short, my overall undergrad GPA wasn’t the best, had solid last 60 units, had great prerequisite grades, etc. I’d also really love to go to CSUN so here’s hoping ?!

No email for me either. I'm still crossing my fingers. I honestly didn't think I had bad stats though, but it might just be because LA is so insanely competitive.

I have a 3.8 undergrad GPA and as for the prereqs, I have around 3.8 if they average out the grades, or a 4.0 if they take the highest grade. I retook Anatomy previously. I wasn't sure how their grading works since the website didn't mention anything in particular. In addition, I also have 200 hours of volunteer experience.

I didn't receive any request for a video interview. Does not bode well ?

I also got an email to submit video interview within 5 days . I’m so nervous.

Congratulations! Do you mind sharing your stats? I just want to know how I can improve. Also, when did you get the email?
