Just wanted to start a forum for those planning to apply for the ABSN program at CSUN during Spring 2021.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted into the program and to those who didn't don't give up keep applying you got this! I'm part of the current CSUN ABSN Cohort and we created a facebook page to help you all communicate with us in case you have any questions. Hey!! Thanks for being so helpful and resourceful during the application process! That definitely helped alleviate some of my stress! ? Good luck with finals!!

Hi all current students! As I am anxiously waiting to hear back from CSUN's ABSN nursing program to start this fall, I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share your application stats (I.e. overall GPA, pre req GPA, work experience, volunteer experience, etc.). I was also curious if you were asked to send in a video interview. Unfortunately, I was not asked to send one in so I am nervous that I am not a priority in their pool of applicants. But I've also heard people have gotten accepted into the program without it. Thanks!! ?

Hey there,

I would be happy to share some stats with you. So I graduated with an undergrad of a 3.6, I can't exactly remember my pre-reqs GPA, I just know it was around a 3.5. I had no volunteer hours but I do have a few years experience working in a hospital. I was asked to send in a video interview. I'm not quite sure if everyone was asked to do one in my cohort. That's all I really did for the application process. I hope this helped you a bit and goodluck! ?
