Hi there! 

I wanted to start a forum for those of us applying to CSULA's ABSN Summer 2024 program. I hope we can help answer questions, offer stats, and support each other during this application cycle. All the best to everyone!

Same here!! I even saw that someone got in pretty close to the program start date. Fingers crossed we all somehow get off the waitlist LOL

I accepted my offer through email but have yet to receive anything else. Has anyone else received anything?

No I'm in the same boat, emailed him letting him know I accepted but I have not got a confirmation or anything. I think they had yesterday off, so hopefully he responded today.

I also haven't received anything yet. There was an auto reply email for general ABSN inquiries that I got back, so I'm also hoping they respond today.

I do not have facebook, but can find other ways to stay in the loop if facebook is the best option for everyone. 
 

Looking forward to meeting you all. Also, regarding the incomplete GET accounts, I feel like it's because we are still technically conditional admission and need to pass the background check and be fully admitted to the university?? But either way I don't think we need to stress it at this moment. Hopefully further instructions will come very soon!

1.   Create a student "Club" for your cohort by clicking on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "SpecialSections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

I have also not received a reply after accepting the offer through email. I got an automated reply as someone here already mentioned. I think as long as we replied to their email by the April 3rd deadline, we will be fine 🙂 

I am so excited to meet you all soon and finally begin our journey in nursing 🙂
