I wanted to start a forum for those of us applying to CSULA's ABSN Summer 2024 program. I hope we can help answer questions, offer stats, and support each other during this application cycle. All the best to everyone! 

Hi everyone! 

Congrats to those who got accepted and those on the waiting list! 

Does anyone know anything about the health insurance requirement? I have covered CA right now, but I thought that we would be eligible for school insurance. I can't seem to locate further info on that. I got into another program out of state which includes health insurance but I'd prefer to stay in CA.

I got in as well! Does anyone else's GET portal still show that their application is incomplete? I emailed them asking what that is about. I submitted both applications the NursingCAS and the Cal State one. When I emailed them they said there was nothing else for me to do on my end.

Hello, to those that were admitted, does your GET application status still say incomplete? I checked it yesterday and it said admitted, but this morning it says incomplete...

Also is there a facebook group for the Summer 2024 cohort?

I wouldn't worry too much about the application status saying incomplete...didn't someone in this thread already reach out to them and they said it's fine? Let's take their word for it. People talked about this in last year's thread as well. I wouldn't overthink it.

Also, did you all send separate transcripts for the actual Cal State application? I submitted official transcripts only through NursingCAS, but I did not submit official transcripts for the actual Cal State app. Any tips/help is appreciated 🙂

Thank you so much for the info 🙂 I am trying not to overthink haha. I am just still in shock that I was accepted LOL

Yes they did want us to send the transcripts again to Cal State Admissions. I'm sure it will be fine if you send them now as he said I'm the email you can send Winter transcripts now if they are completed. Put a rush on it though to be safe. You can do it through parchment. I also was shocked I got on LOL but yay!

Same 😕 I also wonder how many people are on the waitlist and when we would expect to hear back

Same here! I kinda asked them when we would hear back when I emailed them back about confirming my spot on the waitlist. If they respond I'll make sure to let you know 🙂
