Panorama City, CA?

I've been offered a travel contract at Kaiser at Panorama City, CA in OB. Can anyone tell me about it? I know nothing about it. Not sure if I want it but have to tell them by late Monday. Thanks!

I don't know much about the hospital, but the area is TERRIBLE! I would think twice working in Panorama City.

As a student, I did my clinical rotations at Kaiser Hospital in Panorama City. My overall impression was that the hospital appeared dirty and needed updating. All of their computers were from 1985.

As the previous poster mentioned, Panorama City is dirty, graffiti-plagued, and populated by gang members. I wouldn't live in Panorama City under most circumstances. If you want to accept the contract, try to move into a nearby district such as Northridge, Reseda, Sherman Oaks, Mission Hills, Valley Village, West Hills, Granada Hills, Chatsworth, or Porter Ranch. You won't be too far from Panorama City, yet these areas are cleaner and safer.

I wouldnt live in panorama city myself it is not great. I have been going to kaiser hospital since i was a baby up until 18 yrs old and I never had any problems. Its been about 4 years since i have been there so i dont know if the hospital has gotten run down or not on the inside, but the outside does not look bad. I wouldnt live in the area though its awful.

I actually live down the street from Kaiser, Panorama city.

it's not so bad actually..if you go down pass the freeway, that's the "ghetto"

i'm sort of stuck in the middle.

My husband works for Kaiser Panorama city and he has no complaints. the Benefits are great and that's all that matters to me since we have a newborn.

im sorry you all feel that the place i live is so awful.

I apologize awful was a harsh word. Its not an area where I would choose to live but I shouldnt call it awful, or any areas for that matter.
