  1. Hello, My spouse just got stationed in florida and we have to move by july . I finished nursing school in 2011 here in California. I have taken the nclex in 2012 and 2014 and did not pass. I applied for reexamination in California. I was hoping to take the test here in California and apply for licensure by endorsement in Florida but it looks like I still need more studying and I don't want to rush it and fail again. My main concern is Florida accepting my application to test and receive license there when I finished school 3 yrs ago. Will that affect anything? Will if affect that I failed twice in cali? Also, I did want to have a license in California because that is my home state so is it possible to test for nclex in florida and received license from California after I have moved. I have already paid California for reexamination and will receive eligibility letter soon.
  2. I apologize awful was a harsh word. Its not an area where I would choose to live but I shouldnt call it awful, or any areas for that matter.
  3. I wouldnt live in panorama city myself it is not great. I have been going to kaiser hospital since i was a baby up until 18 yrs old and I never had any problems. Its been about 4 years since i have been there so i dont know if the hospital has gotten run down or not on the inside, but the outside does not look bad. I wouldnt live in the area though its awful.
  4. i RECENTLY GOT MY BACHELOR'S ARTS IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT FROM UCSD AND I AM GOING TO NURSING SCHOOL AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY FOR MY SECOND DEGREE BSN TO BECOME AN RN. I ALSO HAVE A CNA LICENSE. WITH THESE CREDENTIALS SHOULD I MAKE MORE MONEY AS A NEW RN GRAD THAN IF I HAD A ADN OR DIPLOMA IN SAN DIEGO????? P.S. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THE NURSING PROGRAM AT NATIONAL IS STRUCTURED. IS IT REAL STRENOUS AND HECTIC. I HAVE TWO KIDS AND I PLAN TO WORK??? THANKS
  5. I want to become a certified nurse midwife and I will be attending National University. National University is accredited with WASC and CCNE but people have been telling me it is a low level school like university of phoenix that alot of people dont accept. Does anyone know if a BSN from National University will be accredited enough to get me into a well known university msn program for cnm like ucla or mount st. marys, or even university of san diego.
