Has anyone applied (or planning on applying) to the RN program at LAHC college? Is there a waitlist that you know of? Any comments, tips, or general info on this school is much appreciated.

HI ANDREW,

I was accepted into LAHC:yeah:for Spring of 2010...I am freakin thrilled. Have you taken your teas test? Do that(and pass), and finish all your prereq's. I hear there were about 200 applicants this application period but only 150 had everything done. They choose 75 to take the teas and 60 were chosen. I assume you're taking the generic route? Good luck...this is an excellent school. Check the ca brn

WOW, congrats on you. I'm sure you'll do great. Well it looks like I'll be applying for the Fall 2010. I wonder when they start accepting applications for that.

Let me ask you, does it seem very competitive in terms of the other students. I've taken the teas test already and scored about right, but I want still passed up by another school.

Thats awesome, I'm so excited to start school and meet new people, I've just got to get in first.

I did'nt get a PM. I did receive an e-mail. I read a what little was there and I'm not currently an LVN. So I'm not sure that this route would apply to me?

Sorry for that. There was another message I was responding to. Harbor is still an option for u, LACC is good(they r downtown L.A), not LATTC(sub-standard n-clex pass rates).

Congrats! Looks like we will be classmates! I was also accepted at LAHC for spring 2010. Soooo excited to have finally found someone on here that will be in my class! See you at orientation:D

Hi Andrew,

I applied for the Spring 2010 nursing program last semester and I just got in. There is no waitlist at LAHC. If you don't get in the first try, all you need to do is send in a reactivation form to let them know that you still want to apply for the next one. The reactivation form doesn't guarantee you a seat in the next application. I suggest you go visit LAHC and talk to somebody over there, that's what I did when I was ready to apply for the program.

We got in the same semester! I'm really thrilled too but I can't help but feel a little scared. I heard it's gonna be a tough ride for us in the next 2 years. Oh well, good luck to all of us and I guess I'll see you at the orientation tomorrow!

I'm kind of a night owl.. I find it hard to sleep before 2am! I seriously need to change that! Lol! Any idea how much the uniforms are? I heard it's pretty pricey...
