LA County Nursing Applicants for Spring 2017-Generic Option

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello. Well I see that no one has posted anything for Spring 2017 applicants and I know that I'm feeling a little nervous here so I'd like to know if there's anyone out there on the same boat that I am.

No I haven't received anything í ½í¸ª lol

Hi!

I received a questionnaire in the mail about 1.5 weeks ago and I mailed everything back already. I already took my TEAS too, so I am not just waiting for the final decision.

Did anyone else receive anything?

No, I did not receive anything. Is that suppose to be important? :/

Hi,

This is the next step in the application process, so you should've received something in the mail from the college. It is instructions on how to sign up to take the TEAS or to send your scores, and a questionnaire that needs to be sent back to the college. Maybe they are still sending them out. I would call the school and ask them about it. It comes in the mail though, not through an email.

Ah so I just called them and asked about my application and they said that since I had already taken the Teas and sent in my scores that I'm good, but that I should eventually be receiving something regarding my application. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is still good :nailbiting:

Okay cool. I took the TEAS already too. So I guess we just wait for the final decision now.

Hi everyone!

I had applied to LA county as well & I've about to fill out the questionnaire that I received a few weeks back.

I'm really hoping to get into this program.

Does anyone know if all of the clinical rotations are done at the LAC+USC hospital or are they also done at USC University Hospital and elsewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Good luck everyone! :)

.....

Hello there and well according to the website it says that...

"Clinical nursing experiences are conducted at Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS) hospitals (Los Angeles County + USC, Olive View-UCLA, Harbor-UCLA Medical Centers, Comprehensive Health Centers and Clinics)."

Ah so I just called them and asked about my application and they said that since I had already taken the Teas and sent in my scores that I'm good, but that I should eventually be receiving something regarding my application. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is still good :nailbiting:

so im guessing the questionnaire is for people who haven't sent in the TEAS score?

Well I was told that the questionnaire is a step in the application process so I'm hoping that it eventually does come in the mail lol

Thanks a bunch! :)

For those of you who are wondering about the questionnaire, I'm sure it's just a matter of time for you guys to receive them. Otherwise, you may want to double check with LAC college of nursing to confirm that they have the correct mailing address on file. I've already sent in my old TEAS exam score along with the transcripts a while back.
