Thank you so much

Thank you,

I have just found out PCC( Pasadena City College) and they have a Career Ladder LVN-RN program. Planning to apply but have to get admitted to PCC first. Am totally new and am an international student. Needs lot of processing before I get even close to the GATE(admitted to PCC first) and then DOOR( the Ladder program in the Nursing department). How many applicants were there when u applied? What was the rate of acceptance?

When did you do yours ? Was it easy to get into that pogram at that time?

:loveya:

Indiana State has an approved on-line progam, all programs are on the board web page. Good Luck!

thanks

But doesnot that take longer to finish online class than ground class LVN-RN?

It is a self paced program. They assess your transcripts, and then you fill in the blanks...so as far as time, not longer than a standard class room situation, unless you desire to go slower. I love it, but unless you are good at self pacing and study it may not be right for you. If you are like me with a hectic schedule full of demands, it a gift to be able to chase my dream at my own speed, on my own schedule!

Mt San Antonio College at Walnut also has an LVN-RN program. I'm not familiar how long it takes, but you still have to take the prerequisites needed to get your associate's degree. Good luck with finding the right school! :)

East Los Angeles College. Good LucK!

Indiana State University is a self paced nursing school? I thought it was traditional as in how long it takes to finish each class. The only difference is that they're online for the theory and clinical rotations at an approved site. Would you please provide more information if you can. Thanks

ISU's LPN-BS track is a semester based online option rather than attending oncampus. Not sure that that would be considered self-paced - though one could decide to take one course at a time...or more...in that respect, the student would determine the "pace" at which the program is completed.
