  1. Hi all, I just got my big brown envelope of good news today :) I got accepted for the MSN/AGNP specialty. I'm torn between UCLA and my alma mater APU. I have to really think it over which one would be best for me. All the best to the others who are still waiting for their decisions. Check your emails as well :)
  2. Mt San Antonio College at Walnut also has an LVN-RN program. I'm not familiar how long it takes, but you still have to take the prerequisites needed to get your associate's degree. Good luck with finding the right school! :)
  3. is the three years accelerated program the RN-BSN one? i thought it was only 15 months. i am thinking of applying to get my BSN also. i was wondering how hard it is to get into the program. thank you for any information :)
  4. i know what u mean! i went through so much emotional stages as soon as i got out of the testing center. i had to wait 6 days for the results to come out :uhoh21: the first two it was very nerve wracking cause even my friends were checking the results for me and kept on calling me... i knew it wasnt a very good idea to tell them i took the test lol. but the next few days was so much better since i got over it and tried to distract myself. hang in there!!:wink2:
  5. hey everyone i wanted to wish u all good luck! every night i include in my prayers that all the NCLEX test takers have the confidence and knowledge they would need on the day of their exam. my friend is taking it september too, but she hasn't told me which date lol. but yeah good luck to everybody!!:)
  6. i'm so happy for you! congratulations!! my friend from the philippines is also preparing for her exam. i'm encouraging her as much as I can and hopefully she will pass also:)
  7. congratulations! my friend came here all the way from the philippines to take her boards the second time. so i know how it must feel to finally pass :) good luck with your interview as well!!
  8. i felt the same way (about the test) while i was taking it, but i didnt want to tell nobody about how some questions seemed easy because i was afraid it will get back to me lol. i stopped in about an hour and a half at 75 so i really panicked because i thought it was too short of a test time but anyways i passed the exam (i just found out today) and now i'm encouraging my friends who still have to take it to just be confident and listen to what your gut is saying when the date is coming closer (i had to reschedule because i felt like i was not ready) you have a very encouraging message for everyone of us. i agree that a lot of people have encouraged me while i was reviewing for my test (altho I was more of a lurker until after i took my test...). you've been through a lot and your journey is very inspirational! my aunt took her second test last june and failed again she was very saddened and now she is thinking of giving up. i will continue to encourage her and support her and share your story (if it's alright with you). more power to you and good luck with your future nursing career :) you will be a great nurse:nurse:
  9. I just found out today that I finally passed!! It was a very long wait and I'm so happy I got the good news I wanted :) California doesn't have the quick results so we have to wait for the online verification. I also heard from students of the previous semester that they also had to wait this long to get the results. I hope you also get your Visa soon! Good luck!! And thank you for encouraging me while I was painfully waiting for my results:loveya:
  10. omg congratulations!! and thank you for the encouragement :) i'm still checking but they haven't updated the website yet...
  11. i agree! i had the same kind of stuff too :) except i had one drag/drop. good luck to you!! i am still waiting for my results so i hope we both receive good news:wink2:
  12. i think there's really no way to predict some sort of pattern... but if it helps you, i took it last week and i got a lot of priority questions (which one u should see first), delegation questions (which would u assign to a peds nurse floating to medsurg), some pharm (BP meds, Coumadin, etc), and a lot of hepatitis B questions. my friend got a lot of pharm questions and he took the test the day i took it. my other friend got a lot of neuro/diabetes questions with a bunch of SATA. so i think it really depends on your performance since the computer is choosing which questions to throw at you based on your answers im sorry u failed the first try, but i wish you all the luck on your second try!!
  13. it's those drag and drop ones where you put some choices in order. congratulations to you!! :yeah:im so happy for you :) Im waiting for my results and reading this kind of posts is lifting up my spirits
  14. i took mine thursday too and i don't see my name on the BRN website yet. did you get your results already? i'm so nervous this is one of the worst moments of my life, that is waiting for the results. i'm hoping that i don't get the news that i failed as well. and i'm from california if that helps. i hope somebody has questions because i'm really freaking out. BRN said they last updated on August 22nd which was yesterday. im hoping my results really aren't out yet
