Hi if you are an international educated nurse (IEN) and currently in the process of submitting your application, completing the additional requirements, or just waiting for their final letter, hopefully the eligibility, Please lets update each other here.
Submitted my application last Nov 15, 2015, received initial response a week after that, for a bunch of addtl supporting docs. Last may 2016 was able to complete everything, mailed to the board, now just waiting for... The final judgement... Going 6 weeks of waiting now..

When you have to re-submit new documentation, it resets the time clock another 6-8 weeks or more and that's assuming you sent them via certified mail and with a tracking number to make sure the evaluation dept has received them.
We've read of a couple of people who just sent them regular mail only to find out, their documents were either lost in the mail or somehow never got to the right dept. It's up to you to make sure you have a trackable way to get your timeline on the same page.
It also depends on the time of submission and receipt as now with the new grads (CA and out of state) submitting their applications, there's going to be a hugh load of paperwork the evaluators have to go thru. The limited staff they have now working on them makes for another delay in the timeline.
Thank u for your response. My mail tracking indicated it arrived there. Just hoping for the best though the wait makes me go crazy[emoji13]
Just an update i got my eligibility today

CA do their own assessment and will need them sending if that is what they are requesting

CA does not use CGFNS they do their own assessment. TX uses CGFNS. You can ask CGFNS to send the required documents officially to CABRN. If you want to become licensed in CA you need to submit what they ask.

Yes it is the case. Just look at the application forms from the CA BRN. They have a transcript form with a breakdown of hours that your school is required to complete.
You can send them a copy of your CGFNS report, but they don't require it and I cam not sure if there is any benefit to it.
