California LVNs (after NCLEX)

Any of you in CA awaiting your LVN NCLEX results? Maybe we can pass the time quicker w stories and our NCLEX experience? I also heard that we have to pay another $120 once we get our letter in the mail stating if we passed, $120 for the actual license? Anyone know? I just took NCLEX today and computer turned off @ 86.:heartbeat

My good wishes to all of you. I graduate in July, in California no less, and know I would be going crazy waiting for an answer. It is ridiculous to have to wait this long.

I am also n cali took my on feb 11 still waiting, well see what part of cali are you in and were are u talking that lvn-rn program thanks and everyone in cali keep hope alive we passesd i know it.

For LVNs who went to school and took their NCLEX in CA: is there a way to take the NCLEX in CA, but get results sent to another state for licensing?

My wife passed her nclex.....

Took in CA On 02/07/08 stopped at 85

Today got the big cover and when i opened, it read PASSED!!!!

Party Time!!!!!

Radstudent ... if you want to be licensed in another state you must take NCLEX in that state or.. other option is take NCLEX in a compact state then you can use that one license in other states ...

hahah... i remember the computer stopping at 85 questions and i started to cry. yeah... those were the days. sometimes i wish i was back as a nursing student... you know... always having an instructor to run to and stuff.... anyone remember the transition from student to new grad nurse?

I took the NCLEX in Sacramento yesterday, March 10th and the computer stopped at 75 questions. I know I failed because I already checked many questions I got wrong. I also know I got some right but not feeling very confident at this time. This waiting is going to kill me. I keep getting on the boards website and type my last name to see if it will give me any info although it has only been a day. I will be the happiest person if I passed but I am pretty sure I failed.

DID YOU TAKE NCLEX-PN AND STOPPED AT 75? COZ MY FRIEND TOOK NCLEX-PN AND STOPPED AT 75 TOO. HE PASSED.

JMMJ- it would have bothered me too if I had received one of those review class offers in the mail, but the timing is coincidental. I forget where you live, are you in California? If so, you've got to tough it out and wait to be notified by mail as there's no phone number to call. So frustrating!

I wish you luck too, aren't you glad the test is over? May we all pass!!

HeartJulz- You sound terrific, I'm now even more happy that you didn't reschedule your testing date. I'm really impressed that you've already been "pounding the pavement", and I know with your enthusiasm, you'll find something perfect! Yay!!

As for me, I'm in an accelerated LVN-RN bridge program (don't even want to think about what might happen if I don't pass the NCLEX) and I'm swamped with schoolwork. There's a work study program at school and they're planning to hire me. With a class schedule that changes every 10 weeks, I might stick just with that as I know I'll have the flexibility I need. I feel like I have way too many balls in the air right now, but it'll be worth it in 18 months... I hope!

No I took the RN Exam and it stopped at 75. I probably only had 4 select all that apply and 4 or 5 math questions. I just don't feel that confident about it at all.. Made many mistakes I think..
