good day!!!! can you help me in applying for my application in california. i already sent my transcript and other forms to my school, but i still have with me my application form and i dont know ghow to get a fingerprint card. im a bit confuse regarding this matter.... can you help me understand this. thank you very much!
sorry.... :) if i had use my internet for searching i would have encountered this website and i should have never made this mistake. my bad suzanne.. but the SS# sux big time. ;0. hehe
Your country will not even permit a foreign nurse to get licensed there, let alone work there as an RN. So why can someone complain of a requirement for the SSN# in the US?
Just makes no sense at all to me.
thanks suzanne! one last question. the bent i was referring is in the right thumb area. it's a slight bend from mailing. like a coupon bond can never be really bent free. strictly speaking, a fold is when you literally fold the hard card right?
i'm really sorry for the clarification but i hope you could give your opinion on this. thanks!
Hi Suzanne and others I just want to ask, if the 3 yrs have lapsed and one wasn't able to supply their ssn# to cali boards will it mean that the person should take the NCLEX exam again after passing but failing to supply an ssn#? can one reapply in other states?
If it is more than 3 years and Ca have destroyed the file then the NCLEX results would have also been destroyed so you probably have to sit the exam again even if you go to another state. You will need to start the application from the beginning even if going to another state
hello.. good day to all. i already sent my nclex application (california) last july 2008 thru FEDEX and i haven't receive any answer or letter up to now regarding it... some of my friends received a letter from the BON and some already received their eligibility... I'm just wandering why i haven't received mine. I just want to follow it up and I hope my application will be processed soon... Or if I have any lacking documents and mistakes regarding my application, I also hope that I may be notified... Thank you and Godbless...:wink2:
dnt get why many of you still chose cali as your initial licensure when there is no license given to you if ever you pass the nclex-rn exam due to SSN requirment. with the retrogression thing right now i dnt think you can provide the ssn requirement with in the 3 yrs span allowance given to you by the cali brn if you manage to pass the exam. anyway im not against to those who are into cali but take time in chosing your state. make into consideration on the retrogression thing and what state do give license regardless of no SSN thing.
for ysabella.
we're all board passers here in the Philippines... those who received their eligibility, they waited not less than 3 mons. first, they received a letter and then, their eligibility... that's why i'm wondering why i haven't received anything yet.. i passed my requirements earlier than them...

thanks for the replies! i finally got my fingerprint cards. but is it alright if the card's slightly bent in one area? i mean, can a card be really bent-free when sent via mail? i'm not sure if i should use it or not. is there a difference between "should not be folded" with "should not be bent"???
are "bents" really a no-no??
