Just wanted to start a thread for anyone who has applied to the New Grad Program in L&D at Dignity's California Hospital Medical Center. Good luck everyone!! I just happened to find this listing today (4/20/17) and applied. It says they will be interviewing the week of May 1, 2017 and it was apparently listed on 4/12. Please comment if you applied/ get a call!
(Btw, I only saw a new grad program for them in L&D...nothing in MedSurg etc.)

Thanks for asking how my interview went, bsinkler, I actually canceled it last week because I accepted the ICU/CCU position at Northridge. I kinda wish I interviewed still...CHMC is closer to my sister's house than Northridge is lol ...and I would've had the chance to work with you guys (if I got an offer)!!

Congratulations! I'll have my physical exam on the 18th. Yes, we need the MAB cert. do you know if we also need the awhonn intermediate and advanced fetal heart monitoring?
Congratulations to you too!! The lady said the rest of certification (NRP, fire safety) we can take after hire. I only turned in the intro fetal heart monitoring and she said that was fine. Have you taken the MAB? Do you know if there's an online course for that?

Congratulations! I completed my physicla on Wednesday and I meet with HR on Monday. I already have my MOAB certification, I took it at the same place as Tink. I wonder how many people interviewed vs. how many were hired.
Congratulations to you too! Looking forward to meeting you and tink on Jun 5th! I was the very first that was interviewed I think. The director wasn't even there yet cause she got stuck in traffic so she was on the speaker phone while I was being interviewed. I saw a huge pile of paper on the desk and I'm not sure if those were the applicants paperwork. I came out and I only saw one person waiting. That was around 9am.
