Calhoun Community College 2016

Published

Hello,

I know it's still a bit early, but I was wondering if anyone is applying for the Fall of 2016 program at Calhoun?

Hey Everyone,

I'm applying for the full time ADN program in the fall. I made a 68.8 on my science and a 90 on my math. I have 220/302 and I'm praying that's enough. I'm going to the information session on March 10th... Is anyone else going that day?

I followed a thread awhile back and I believe there were people getting into the Fall 2015 program with as low as 170-180 and even the dean said he believed 200 points and up were pretty good on chances for getting in.

That makes me feel better. I'm so nervous about this whole process!

I'll bet at the session on the 10th! I'm also planning to turn in my application that day.

You can do it! I remember my brain hurt the day before. Do not study the day of. Give yourself time to rest. You are almost there!:)

Thanks! I made an 83 on the math and a 67 on the science. Not as well as I would have like, but I'll have 245 point for my application, so we'll see. I can't believe we'll know in roughly 8 weeks!

i was planning on doing that as well and I wrote the date of the session on my application to get the two points. Are you going to turn in your application before the session?

That's great! I would think anything above 200 would be good. I'm waiting to see if they will approve my microbiology that I am transferring in. I can't turn my application in until I hear back.

That's what I'm hoping. I'm not sure of the hours for the office where you drop them off or if you can drop it off after it's closed.

Hopefully it works out! That sounds stressful having to wait on that.

Yeah i wanted to drop it off before but I didn't know how they would feel that i wrote the session on my application but i haven't attended it yet even though I'll be going to the session that day.

I would imagine they'd understand, and since they take roll at the sessions to prove who was there or not I can't imagine it'd be a problem. I think I'm going to email someone in the department just to double check though.

Ok please let me know what you find out. If they don't respond then I'll call tomorrow afternoon.
