  1. I'm interested
  2. I got my acceptance letter for the evening program. (I'm in Owens Cross Roads.) However, I will be turning it down as I got accepted into the UAH program. Due to drive and timing, the UAH day program works better for me than going all the way out to Calhoun.
  3. That sounds devastating. Good luck on your next adventure!
  4. I received my acceptance letter today!
  5. Has anyone called to find out if the letters will go out this week? I am so tempted to do so but I think I will wait until Friday. Fingers crossed they go out this week!!! I am so ready to KNOW their response, one way or the other.
  6. I, unfortunately, can't go to the event on the 19th. Looks like I also can't swing the day program either do to the timing of everything. I am just going to submit my paperwork tomorrow.
  7. I'm not bummed that the PTE program ends in Dec 2018 since that was the graduation date when it was 7 semesters but I'm now trying to decide if I want to wait a whole semester or just try to make the day time program work.
  8. From my understanding at the first session and from reading previous threads, it seems like the minimum number changes every year. My understanding is they have x number of seats, dictated by how many clinical spaces available, and that they will accept the top x number. Example, if they have 30 clinical spots for the part time ADN program, then only the top 30 students get in. One year the minimum score might be 200 while another year the minimum score might be 175. They also noted that the minimum score is usually lower in the Spring traditional ADN than in the Fall traditional ADN. I
  9. I have applied and am anxiously awaiting the letter! Yesterday marked week 4 since the closing of applications. Hopefully they will go out in time and we only have a few more weeks of waiting!
  10. @charliebarlie, I'm applying for the PT evening program as well because of little ones. My daughter will be in 1st and my littlest one will hopefully be in a full time pre k program but since I live 50 min from Calhoun, there is no way I could make it to the 8 am classes. Now I am starting to think I should send an email to verify they received my package. I really wish they would provide a print out of the new PT program classes.
  11. I have two small kiddos (4 yr & 5 1/2 yr). I don't work but I am on the board for the PTA, which is like a full time position - just no pay. I'm really worried about my brain handling all the new information and the juggling of kids since my husband recently started traveling more for work and is also in school for his MBA. And I have 240 points. I missed out on the points for Microbiology (which I'm taking now) and the 7 points for having basic work out of the way because I haven't completed my psychology class.
  12. I followed a thread awhile back and I believe there were people getting into the Fall 2015 program with as low as 170-180 and even the dean said he believed 200 points and up were pretty good on chances for getting in.
  13. Any one applying to both Calhoun & UAH?
  14. Good luck, BRing914! Let us know how you do this afternoon.
  15. Changing from 7 to 5 semesters would be awesome! I went to the first session but they didn't mention a change. Hmm now I'm anxious to see the new catalogue. Does anyone know when Fall registration is? Maybe that will give us an idea of when to expect the catalogue to come out.
