Hey there! We are having our first calculations class tomorrow and I'm wondering- what units of measurements should I worry about most when learning conversions?Thanks in advance guys!

Anyone?

kg to lbs

c to f

mcg to mg or g or any variation of that

oz to mL

L to mL

I know it's a little late but mostly grams to mg, mg to mcg, and if you're doing pediatric calculations yet - lbs to kgs. All of these you should be able to reverse as well.

You should also know inches to cm (1 in - 2.5 cm), converting traditional time to military time, converting celsius to farenheit and back (F=1.8C+32), these:

1 teaspoon is 5 mL

1 tablespoon is 15 mL

1 ounce is 30 mL

and maybe 1 grain is 65 mg.

But it really depends on the professor.

Good day:

Standard Conversion Factors

1mg=1,000mcg

1g=1000mg

1kg=1000g

1kg=2.2lb

60mg=1g

30mL=1oz

1L=1000mL

5mL=1tsp

15mL=1tbsp

1tbsp=3tsp

Temperature Conversions

37.0 C = 98.6 F

C= (F-32) x 5/9

F= (C x 9/5) +32

How to Convert Units of Measurement may be helpful.

Thank you.
