I think there is some information missing from the problem.

If no info is missing than you need to know how many grains are in 400mg.....
100mg x 4 tabs=400 mg
1gr=15mg
400mg / 15mg = 26.66666 so about 26.7 grains?

The correct conversion is 1grain = 60mg.
Just make sure you answer what is being asked, since extraneous information is included.
I hope that helps :)

0.2g means .2 grams, doesn't it? gr is the abbreviation for grains. So, 400mg = .4 grams, .2 grams would be 200 mg or 2 tablets.

wow. just wow.
4 tabs x (100mg/tab) x (gr/60mg)
=6.67 gr

1 grain = 60 or 65mg
If one tablet is 100mg and the order says 0.2g (200mg) then the order is calling for 2 tablets
4 tablets would be 400mg. so if 1 grain is 60mg then 4 tabs is 6.7 grains

1 grain= 60mg, 0.2g= 200mg, if 1tab = 100mg dose is 2tab =200mg, if you want to know how many grain in 100mg (100mg/60mg=1.6 gr or 1.7 gr) or if you want to know how many grains in the correct dose 200mg/60mg= 3.3 grain

If the question is worded correctly it doesn't matter what the prescriber ordered. The question is how many grains in 4 tabs, according to the OP. As stated by previous posters, gr= 4 tabs x (100mg/1 tab) x (1 gr/60 mg) = 400/60 gr = 6. 67 gr. If it asked for how many grains in the desired dose, it would be 200/60 gr = 3.33 gr

I, myself, hate grains!!! I always get lost on these.
Thank you, you are right, I just did not finish the answer on my post, after I posted I realized that I was missing that part, but since another member appointed that, I did not want to explain it again. :)
