Anyone planning on applying to the Spring 2011, CSUSM, accelerated ABSN program? Just wondering if there is anyone else out there:)

They actually are having a fall cohort this year, it was announced on their website, but it's hard to spot if you don't look for it.

Oh my this is exciting! I just saw it, it is under the How to Apply Link. I will be done with all my classes in July and would love to start in Fall! It is the San Marcos campus only, but will anyone else be done and ready in Fall?

When did you apply? I applied a year ago. I wonder when they will let us know if we will be accepted for Fall. I hope we both get in! You are from Murrieta? I am in Temecula:)

I applied back in 2008 but have been finishing classes. I am really looking forward to hearing from them. Hopefully we will hear something soon! :yeah:

I am from Murrieta. Hopefully we will both get in; maybe we can set up a carpool.

They are admitting 100 students (if I remember correctly) for the Fall 2010 ABSN program at the San Marcos location. I attended an information meeting a few months back and the counselors confirmed this. I, too, am wondering when they'll be notifying those who get accepted. It'd be nice to know our status so we can plan accordingly (especially financially!)

Anyone hear any news?

I talked to someone 2 days ago. They still do not know when they are going to notify people but they said they are working on their point system right now and hope to let people know ASAP for the August start date.

While I hope you guys get a response sooner, those in the generic program didn't know about their acceptance until July 1st because they wait for transcripts from the prior spring.....

Does anyone know if the accelerated program is still not impacted? I haven't been to the informational meeting since 2008, so I'm not sure anymore.
