Hey everyone! I applied to this upcoming cycle about a month ago but I know the deadline just passed. who else applied? I believe we should hear back sometime in late March with official evaluations etc. I signed up for the info session next month as well. good luck!
Thanks for being so much help! do you happen to know if the ~$50,000 includes housing and living expenses? I am not sure how much I should ask for student loans
No the $50,000 doesn't include housing. If you qualify for the $12,500 a year the most the school will certify for you for private student loans is another $22,400/yr. so that would be $25,000 federal student loans and $44,800 private student loans for a total of $69,800.
Does anyone know what the schedule will be for the first semester in fall? Mainly, will there only be one lecture day (with no clinicals) or are the classes spread out throughout the week?
My advisor said class will be 1-3 days for the first semester. I saw a comment by picklerick that only one class was on campus for that particular cohort.

Yes to an extent it depends on how much in previous student loans you currently have, as there is a cap on how much you can take in federal financial aid in your lifetime. The school never gives financial aid, they just certify how much school is going to cost for both federal and private loans.
I am a veteran and used my GI Bill for my first bachelors degree, so I don't have any student loans. I've already been approved for and accepted my federal financial student aid award for the ABSN program, which is $12,500 per year ($25,000 for the entire program). Since the program is about $50,000, that's why I said you're left to fund the remaining $25,000 some other way, other than federal financial aid. This is assuming you're approved for the maximum federal student aid of $12,500 per year/$25,000 for the program. So I'm receiving $25,000 in Federal Student Aid/Loans and am still short $25,000, so I was approved for a private student loan through SallieMae to cover the difference.
I've spoken to the financial aid office several times and all my financial aid is already set up. It was quite confusing at first but if anyone has questions, feel free to ask as I have a decent grasp on it now.
