Anyone here already got their results from the mail from CA BON who took NCLEX this dec.?

I found out I passed today! My name was posted on the BON website on the 18th. I hope my story will give everyone a little bit of hope and encouragement. I took my NCLEX on DEC 1st!!!! The reason I couldn't get my results was because BON never received my official transcripts. I sent my transcripts to them not only once, but THREE times!!! I'm so mad at myself for letting a stupid transcript stand in my way of getting my license, so please make sure that all paperwork has been cleared because the headache and waiting is EXCRUTIATING! I passed with 75 questions and let me tell you.. I am SURE I missed at least 10 of them! At first when I walked out of the testing office, I felt that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Then when I got home and looked up some of the questions I remembered and found out I missed 10 (and because I remembered only those 10!) I started to freak out and really thought I failed. Anyways... I did get a bunch of priority and delegation questions so.. I don't know.. maybe you can miss a bunch of questions but if you get the hard ones right, then you're home free. Well.... my sis got the results... too bad she didn't pass... oh well try again! hehehe

Sorry, but for the LVN in CA, it doesn't work the same way as the RN. Remember that you have only paid for the exam, you have not paid for your license yet, so you will not see anything on the website. You will need to wait until you receive the letter by snail mail, and it is usually about 3 to 4 weeks, then you will need to sumbit payment to the BON, but not until you have received the letter.

I found the website for LPN>>>http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov. & they have the same screen as the RN website where I have to type my name. So they are not updating this site as the RN website. I'm jobless right now & couldn't bear the wait of 3to4 more weeks. I had a hard time applying for a job unrelated to nursing. Should just challenge for my RN again while waiting for my result in 3 to 4 weeks. Huh! Confused!

Doesn't it work the same way w/ the site: www.bvnpt.ca.gov? this is the site for lpn. Should I just wait in the mail for 3-4 weeks?

Hi lawrence!!

Could you please help me to clear up my mind regarding the US Social Security Number? Is it true that if I'm not able to provide the BON with the Security Number for the next three year, my NCLEX will be voided and I have to take it all over again? i wanted to be in California however, I am hesitant to apply because of the US SOcial Security number thing...

Please help me!!
