CA Nurse moving to MN

Published

Hi All!

I am a new graduate nurse who is moving to MN next week so I can start a job at the Mayo Clinic in October. I sent my endorsement paperwork to CA's BRN on August 12th and I am now just waiting for CA to send my license over there. Does anyone have any experience with the time frame of this endorsement process? I am very nervous that I will not be able to start in October and I just want some help on understanding how long it will take. It currently says 4-8wks, but when I got my ATT it only took about 6 weeks instead of the 10-12wks. Any help or guidance would be absolutely amazing!! Thank you all ?

Specializes in Motherhood for SickKids.

Mine was done a long time ago, so might not helpful... I can't exactly remember, but about 5-6 weeks from NY to MN.

I hope you've been enjoying the cold weather.

Hello, I was wondering how long it took for you to transfer your license out of CA. Thanks ?

How are you liking Mayo? That's my dream job but I still cannot see myself living in Rochester MN. And Mayo locations in FL and AZ are honestly not good alternatives. Main campus is where its at!

Specializes in SNF.

How’s your time at Mayo been?
