CA BRN posting under permanet license verification how long

Hi,

I took boards in CA 1/20, I heard they furlough on Fridays. When I search the BRN site for permanent license verification my name comes back with "no record returned". I have done the Pearsonvue "trick" and I get the "good" message, that has allowed me to sleep. I am really wondering. Why is it taking SOOO long?. I heard they post with in 24 hours. Any one know the scoop? Thanks

CA takes between 3 days and 4 weeks to post results, never heard 24 hours for CA

Some people have waited as long as five months to get their results in CA. Until CA decides to join the Quick Results system, people are going to have from three days to several weeks or months to wait. Good luck.

What if you jaz got married here in california, and took the test last week, with NO SSN.

You think the bon will list me on the website (if i passed)?

If you have no SSN then you will not see your name on website and a license will not be issued. Once you get sorted and a SSN issued let the BRN know and they will sort out a license.

I've never heard of anyone finding their name online within 24 hrs... I wish it was true though!!! LOL

I graduated Dec 14th... took NCLEX-RN Jan 14th... got the "good pop up" on Pearson Vue website... HOWEVER my college didn't send our transcripts until Jan 16th... the BRN said it would take 3 weeks+ after they recieved our transcripts to process them.. They probably recieved them Jan 18th or 19th...

Surprisingly today the first students out of my graduating class began to appear on the CA BRN website... only 4 so far but the rest of us are excited to see if we are listed tomorrow... *crossing fingers* :eek:

Unfortunately for us, our practically bankrupt state is laying people off and don't forget those furloughs... if they aren't open on Fridays anymore well that's 20% of their work week... so EVERYTHING gets backed up... who knows realistically how long this will all take.. :confused:

thought I would post a quick update... I was STILL awake at 1:30am and thought I'd check the BRN website one last time before bed and you will NEVER guess what happened... my name appeared!!!! I am an RN!!!!!!!!!! =):yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::nurse:

It works, it took a week for CA to post my lisence #, and the "trick" works, Thank You Jesus!!!!!:nurse:

Whats the Pearson Vue trick? Took my test Thur..still nothing up on the board yet :(

Just go online and type in or search "pearson vue trick". It will give you the directions with pictures. Very easy. Good luck. Supposedly if it doesnt allow you to re register for the nclex test then you passed. If it lets you re register and asks for payment then you failed. Dont know how accurate it is but seems to work for everyone Ive talked to.
