I had already registered online in Pearson Vue but I think I'm not yet eligible to take the test. Is there an expiration date for my registration at PV?
I received a letter from CA BON requesting for new requirements such as:
SS number
Local license in the Philippines
Copy of ur clinical rotation schedule for your cases: Assisted/Actual deliveries, cord dressing, and major/minor surgeries
A complete school curriculum hundred pages or more sent directly from ur nursing school to the board. (the board doesn't accept the condensed version of the curriculum
A one-page curriculum outline and academic calendar.
Fortunately, I had the first 2 requirements but I am worried that the last 3 will take time to be accomplished.
I am wondering if it's just me who have this requirement. Most of NCLEX passers I know weren't required on those listed above. It's really hard to focus on review while your thinking of this
She got her eligibility 2010 and took her NCLEX July 2011 and failed. She got her ATT last January 2012. We have the same nursing program and we're even in the same RLE group. I knew her cases was not concurrent.

My analyst told me if someone got eligible,took the exam And pass without even look or ask for the clinical cases,license will be issued but
once they renew their license and found out that their cases were not concurrent,they have to reevaluate it again...
i just don't know what to do now. but if it's requiring me to take med surg and OB just to take nclex and be a USRN, i will definitely do it. but just looking for school that accepting this kind of situation is really hard, most of them are not accepting only 2 subjects. studying is not a problem to me,but financially i am really having trouble. guys can you give me a really good advice. i just really wanna take these 2 subjects and get rid of it so i'll be a nurse. this is really my dream. i'm just hoping that everything will be ok and turns out good :) one more question, how log will it takes to take those 2 subjects???i hope its not that long.anybody knows? thank you and GODBLESS US ALL :)
im not really sure about that,because it's written in the letter that it needs to be in california. this really giving me a headache,but im willing to do everything just to finish this requirement from brn. how about you?have you tried looking for school?where in california are you from? :)

I had posted two CA schools here in one of these forums, one even had the special foreign student deficiency form to fill out, that was Pierce College, CA. The other school was SFSU, San Francisco State Univ., but didn't see the special enrollment form.
But I don't know if anyone called or e-mailed these colleges and followed back here with their results. Only some much advice can be given out and it's up to those affected to follow thru, not sure what else can be done for you guys.
If you didn't get any results, well, that's fine, at least you tried, but if you did find success, it would be great if you could let others know. But I can understand with everyone trying to fill in just a few openings, one might stay behind the scenes.

Where you at?if you are in the bay area,try to ask CCSF,I went to inquire about my deficiencies and they said they are participating the BRN make up classes for foreign educated students/RNs in a SPACE AVAILABLE BASIS.Upcoming students must successfully completed English 1A which Is a Freshman university level reading and writing composition and Math 840 which is an Elementary Algebra upon admission.That is only a short summary of the requirements.If you guys are interested,you must go to CCSF nursing dept.office.
im from san diego. i have a friend here that has the same situation as me so we are helping each other to solve this deficiency. so we are really trying so hard just to find a school that can accept us. i just thought it was easy because it was suggest and required by BRN.but just looking for a school is already giving us a hard time im just frustrated and sad

I feel the same way too.Just dont give up,if you can't find schools for now.try other options like challenging LVN or try to look for another state.
actually i found a school and im just waiting for their answer, and they told me that they are accepting those kind of situation. so im praying that they are going to accept me and tell me i can start right away im just hoping that is not gonna take that long to take those subjects. i also having problem with my financial but my friends are telling me that i can apply for a loan or something. but i'll think about that after they accept me, the important thing right now is there is a possible school that i can go and take both MS and OB :) GODBLESS US ALL :)
