Butte College RN Program Spring 2020

I just applied for the first time for Spring 2020, but was reading other threads that said some people had to apply 7 times before getting in (that was in 2014 though)!!! Is anyone applying to the program for the first time or again? What seems to the number of times people are applying these days before they get in?

Same here!! ? Still lots to do before next January (also found it curious there was no mention of a drug screening, or did I miss that?) ??

Yeah i was surprised they don’t do drug screening! Well just have to wait and see. Doing my blood work tomorrow. Trying to get everything squared away! Signed up for financial aid but haven’t heard back to see how much I’d be eligible for. Anyone know the nursing program cost?

Oh and they said to make sure to have a email on file. I believe it’s the same one they used to contact us to notify us of getting in right? Because I haven’t checked my school email at all. ?

From what I've been told, the total cost for everything (tuition, uniforms, texts, etc.) is between $7300-7500.

Based on the packet, it looks like yes, the email they have on record (the one you got your acceptance email from) is the one they will use. Just remember to refer to "Class 31" is all correspondence...or Section 31, if you're a nerd like me ?

Awe I see. Wow that’s not bad at all! I was about to sign myself up for a program that costed 87k ?. Thank god I got into this one! Thank you! See everyone on the 19th ahhhh! Still shook! Is everyone from that area? I’m moving from Merced to there ?

Sort of lol. I'm from Grass Valley, about 70 miles southeast of Oroville, so I'll have a bit of a commute.

I applied to the program 3 years ago and am still waiting to get in. 3 YEARS!!! That’s insane. I know 5 other people who are still waiting to get in too. It looks like most people are getting in on their 7th try. Hoping to get in next Spring because that will be my 7th time.

I hope you get in! Most of the people in my cohort got in on their 7-8th time. It’s all a matter of chance and time! Best wishes to you! I know that feeling.
