Butte College RN Program Spring 2020

I just applied for the first time for Spring 2020, but was reading other threads that said some people had to apply 7 times before getting in (that was in 2014 though)!!! Is anyone applying to the program for the first time or again? What seems to the number of times people are applying these days before they get in?

I got in! I’m so excited and congratulations to everyone who got in! To those who didn’t, keep applying and spend this time getting great experience, you will get here too!

I did not get in and wasn’t expecting to since this was my first application. However, congrats to everyone that got accepted!!! Y’all deserved it. Hopefully I’ll have better luck if I reapply next cycle.

I got in too! Got in on my 3rd try! So there’s hope there guys, don’t give up! I can’t wait to meet everyone!

I was really hoping to get in this time, as it was my 6th consecutive application, but no luck. I was in nursing school back in 2015-2016 and quit like a fool to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity that did not work out. I've been kicking myself ever since, and it's taking so long to get back in. Anyway, I guess the moral of the story is: If you get in don't quit - no matter what!!!! Godlike everyone!

I really hope you get in on your next try then. It’s really a shame how competitive it is to get into any RN program in Cali especially when there’s a nursing shortage. There’s a private school called “Gurnick Academy” in Fresno if you don’t mind moving. I was in the process of applying there. They have 8 spots open so far and it’s based on how well you do durning the face to face interview. Look them up. Best of luck to you. ❤️

Morning. So today I hope I find something with to LVN to RN bridge program! Best of luck to everyone on your adventures!!! If anyone hears about the program please keep me posted. This forum has been great ❤️

Are the hear back dates different? If so best of luck to you! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Yes I guess. I reached out to an old colleague and he’s hasn’t heard either with the bridge program! Crazy!!!!

Oh no, ugh you must be so anxious! Ok if I hear anything new I will keep you updated. Today Michelle Simmons emailed back confirmation for seats in spring. That’s the only thing so far. I suggest you call. Don’t wait too long!
