We had a snow day in Chicagoland yesterday so today is our first day back from break.
Really kicked it off with a bang... a teacher slipped on ice and has what looks to be a fractured ankle. Out by ambulance and now the whole office is abuzz. Deep breaths and lets get back to work!
Have a great day everyone!

GAAA! On the plus side, you're a hero and they appreciate you all the more, right? How many wakeups until winter break?
This school is always very appreciative! The only school that I've ever worked at where I consistently felt appreciated!
18 more wake ups....
Just heard back from this teacher... broken in 4 places. Yikes!!!!

Yikes! The ground really is slick today with that nice weekend combo of rain and snow. I think we were the only ones who didn't get off school yesterday...slid my whole way to work yesterday and today. Ice ice baby!

That is terrible. Adults always take so long to heal, and worst time of year too with holidays, icy sidewalks, etc. Poor thing!
