Bunker Hill Community College Fall 2017

Is there anyone currently in the BHCC Nursing Alternative program? I just completed my application for the fall 2017 and wanted to confirm If it's just one night a week & weekends. I'm nervous about getting accepted, since my TEAS score was just a 76%. But my GPA is 3.97, so I hope this will help me.

Has anyone emailed the department chair?

Everyone is getting different answers. A friend of mine just spoke to admissions and they told her that we should get answers by June 1st.

What, you've got to be kidding me. :mad: They have to do the orientation this month...

Nursing program does not meet over the summer and classes would start September 5th - it takes time for uniforms and supplies to come in and for clinical placements to be made. There is no way they would push it to June 1st. I can't believe it!

If its by our grades and teas score this should be easy to make list right.... they've had everything in the beginning of march. I just can't believe why this is taking so long... most colleges tell you by now so most people have a certain time to tell the other schools or they loose there spots... they really need to work on this.....

My friend who is in the nursing program during the evening asked her professor, and she also told her that by June 1st, we would know!!! I hope they have a good reason for making us wait! Hopefully to make the program better!

The committee has not met to make student selections. Please be patient in we will inform you as soon as possible.

vperdomo, did you send them an email first? I thought maybe this was a bulk message to those that applied but I did not receive anything. I'm glad someone got official word though! Thanks for the information.

I send a email. I was at work and couldn't call. It took them 2 days to respond.

I just called the admissions office. The lady said no decisions have been made to wait until the end of the month.

I still hold on to hope that we would get an answer before the end of the month. I really hope we do!
