Bunker Hill Community College Fall 2017

Is there anyone currently in the BHCC Nursing Alternative program? I just completed my application for the fall 2017 and wanted to confirm If it's just one night a week & weekends. I'm nervous about getting accepted, since my TEAS score was just a 76%. But my GPA is 3.97, so I hope this will help me.

Mid May, NO WAY. I really hope she was misinformed. We called this morning and were told that they had not had the meeting to decide who was being accepted but did not expect MID MAY as a time for our acceptance notification. That would be awful. Lets hope for news before April is up.

This wait is killing me. I spoke to the admission office today, they told me it's a long process and just continue to wait until i get the letter. They were no help at all. Anyone else heard anything from them.

I am assuming right now we are all on the same page and have not heard anything from admissions. Has any called them late this week? I had emailed them and they said the same thing as they did to Lovely2017. I just feel like I can not wait any longer! Any input on how you are all coping?

I'm assuming that they need to make the decisions within the next week or so. I know that the orientation has always been mid-May as the nursing staff is away for the summer, and then classes start in September. I just am trying to distract myself as much as possible, but I still check my profile daily despite the news that the selection committee hasn't met!

I find that hard to believe that the committee haven't met yet. Based on posts from past threads it seems that it's around this time frame people usually receive their email notice. So hopefully they're only pulling our leg and we will all find out soon.

Had class this morning, so i swing by admissions.Was told that if we dont hear anything by this wednesday that we should definatly call admin.

I really hope its before then though. Keep us posted!!!!

I don't get it. The school is very unorganized because I called admissions and not one person in the office can give you an accurate information.

Their lack of organization isn't new, but based on all of the threads from prior years, I really thought we would have heard by the end of April! I also know that the orientation has always taken place in May so it is very surprising that letters aren't out yet.

Fingers crossed for everyone, hopefully we hear soon!
