Hey everyone! I am starting my BSN-MSN in education at April 1st! I just wanted to hear about other's experiences in the program, any tips, and how long it took to finish! I am a full time RN working day shift right now, but I plan to spend as much time as school as I can to finish sooner! Any thoughts, comments, and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Congratulations on taking this step! I am very excited for you and will look forward to reading your progress. I am finishing my RN to BSN at the same term you are starting your BSN to MSN, and I will start my BSN to MSN as soon as I complete the BSN coursework this summer.

Hello, I just finished my first class for the BSN-MSN Nursing Education Track.

So far it hasn't been exceptionally stressful other than currently having two jobs and trying to fit in school work.

I would love to hear how this program is working for you! I am considering the RN to MSN option in Nursing Education at as well. Do you like it so far?

Tagging along, I'm in the process of enrolling for the RN to BSN option ?

I'm glad to find someone who is in this program. I am currently on the edge of making a decision as to what RN-BSN program to do. is one choice, but the one I'm leaning toward does not have an MSN program. I'm 50 years old, not even sure if I'm going to go any further after my BSN, but I don't want to rule it out either. I know in their RN-BSN program they automatically give you 50 credits for licensure, but what do they give you if your're coming into the BSN-MSN program? I can't find any information on that.

:) I'm in a similar boat, except I'm a bit older than you and know 100% that I do not want to pursue any higher degree than the BSN. They are currently reviewing my transcripts. I have some university credits as I went a year or so after I got my ADN. Will be interesting to see how many they take. They way I see it unless I finish the BSN, all those credits and the $$$ spent on them will be wasted.

I do like it but I do not enjoy being contacted by my program mentor every week. Every week they call to make sure you are doing okay and make goals for the week. I am a very independent worker and don't need her to help make my goals. A couple of times I have not met my goal because of a crappy week and I feel like she makes me feel bad for missing a goal. Get off my butt, but other than that the program is okay. If you have a specific question then let me know.

I will be applying for the RN to MSN hoping to start in July. It's been a long time since I have been in school, I am nervous and excited. I will be checking back on this topic frequently!
