Hello,
I'm curious about the process for pursuing a MSN after receiving a BSN. I'm sure it depends on the masters program to which you are applying, but I have heard that even when you have all of your credits locked into a BSN they can still expire? This doesn't seem right and I just wanted to get some opinions from others out there. A masters program wouldn't require you to retake prereqs if they were locked into your BSN and you had been working as a RN would they?
Thanks!

If you have a BSN, it doesn't 'expire'. Now, that said, some MSN programs require as prerequisite work certain undergraduate coursework before enrollment. So- for example- if Statistics is an undergrad requirement, and your BSN program didn't include it- you have to take stats.
Not sure who you "heard" about these expiring credits from, but they are misinformed. Go straight to the source (the MSN school) if you want accurate information.
