BSN to DNP: UF Fall 2011

Anyone else applying?

I'll be taking my CCRN and GRE at the end of this year, and then applying for the Acute Care Track. I know it's going to be difficult with studying for both, but I know I can do it.

Anyone a current student in this program? I live in the Tampa area and if/when I'm accepted, will be doing the web-based program. Can't wait:)

No news here......yesterday or today.

I called and they had my wrong gre scores- faxed my correct ones and she told me i should hear something my next week. so relieved-fingers crossed

What were your incorrect/correct GRE scores? I had to petition because my verbal is 450.

I had to petition too. Same gre situation...

I petitioned too. Darn GRE.

the GRE scores they had was a verbal of 370 which wasnt my score, so glad i called them i faxed over my real GRE scores , She said i should her back from them this week. She sent me the petetion letter after we got the gre score mix up straight, i sent it back that same day.

470 was my verbal and 600 quant

how many people usually get accepted?

I checked my mail already today and I haven't received anything from UF, HOWEVER considering this is the last week of April and all....lol, I decided to check out ISIS to see if I could access anything that would put a positive spin on my application.

I am a former UF student...(first degree, not my BSN)......so I can't say you would be able to do this if you aren't a former student...but I was able to view financial aid information for Fall, which predicted cost of attendance from 8/23/2011 to 5/ 2/2012, while breaking down the 3 types of loans I qualify for. At the bottom of the page, I was given choices to not accept the award for Fall, not accept funds for Spring 2012 or not accept any funds as I wouldn't attend UF at all. ISIS allowed me to view courses in the Nursing program for Fall, but it indicated that I couldn't register because I had a hold on my record as I had not yet completed the immunization requirement/had not yet completed an enrollment acknowledgment. :) When I clicked on summer 2011, the system indicated it had no record of me for summer.....but it did for Fall.....yippee!

I don't want to get TOO TOO excited....but I guess I can't help it....lol.

Here's hoping all of this means something wonderful.

Did you petition?

I'm not a former UF student but I got all that stuff too except financial aid. But then again, I don't have a current fafsa on file for 2011.

Very Cool. :) Are you taking that as a positive or negative sign? ...or no sign?

Did your account also indicate a "Hold" because you hadn't completed immunizations/enrollment acknowledgment? Had you been able to see this info before or is this a recent thing?

Did you petition?

No, I didn't petition. I performed pretty decently on the GRE.
